So i had my delivery from fordparts.com i was ordering stuff for my GT front bumper. i got both fender liners i know i needed a deflector thing but they sent me something else and i also orderd a screw... im very confused...

heres a picture of what i have:



As you can see, i have the grille and the wiring... then both fender liners and that rubber strip in the middle...i must have orderd the wrong part or something because i think its on the v6 bumper because i couldnt feel it on my dads GT


Heres what im talking about..the rubber strip??for what??? part number: 5R3Z-8349-BA



and here is the screw i got part number: N801169-S900 and W705992-s441 i checked the how to install a GT front bumper thred and that was on the list of things to order...



Im very confused as you can tell, does anyone have the part number to the radiator splash sheild and screws i need for it?? i know people say i dont need the splash sheild but i dont want to half *** the job... I spend 90 dollars on this and dont have money to throw round on wrong parts at the moment...so if anyone has the part numbers...i would really be greatful.

I got the radiator shield in my hand right now, it's part # 5R3Z-17626-BA

Not sure if you have this yet but the GT foam isolator is part # 5R3Z-17C947-BA

I don't know what screw you'll need. I didn't buy any so hopefully my installation will be fine.

Okay, by the sounds of things your installing a GT front bumper also...ive been reading for about 3 hours now the screw and that little clip is for the radiator sheild...the clip fits on the radiator and the screw holds it to the radiator so they are manditory...i checked on my dads GT his has 7- 4 in the front and 3 in the back. so the numbers are

N801169-S900 and W705992-s441 the first one is the screw and the second one is the clip thing.

Now ive got to figure out what to do with the rubber strip because its for the v6 bumper...

Return it, as long as it isn't used they should take it back.

yeah but they want a 15% handling charge on all returned parts
i called them and i was on hold for a while so ill call back later.

when i type in the radiator splash sheild it gives me two options:

They are the same part number and look to be the same item, just get the radiator support lower deflector one. That sounds familiar to what mine said on the packaging.

thanks...just spoke to them on the phone, he is going to re credit my accound and send out the screws and the propper part.
it still cost me $10 to send back that silly pice of rubber...get this the post office charged me for tape...i kid you not...i either buy a whole roll for $5 or i use his for $1 ....rip off! lol but im happy because my parts are on the way!!!

Sounds like the guy at the post office is pocketing money. I work for the postal service and have never heard of charging to use our tape. We don't have tape to supply other than priority or express, but we don't charge to use tape we already have.
