RE: cai question
I think I paid right around $200 shipped (from Blue Oval Industries) for my S&B CAI complete. It is a GREAT unit and I could not be happier. It can be run with or without a tune.
The parts are OEM quality as S&B makes the Ford CAI's.

RE: cai question
I would try and buy a used one here on the forum. I made a post two days ago, hoping to find one for myself. I have received 3 offers already. They seem to go for roughly half the price of a new one. I like new stuff, but the trouble is, I want too much stuff.

RE: cai question
Thanks all but I got BBK to sell me a new pipe to fix my issue for $60. Warning to all BBK is not a very support friendly corporate group. They prefer you use the individual dealer if you have a problem and not call them. They had attitude issues when I explained it was their product causing the problem. They also can't be trusted to make sure the right specs are being used to make their products. next step for me now is to hurry up and pay off the car so I can save for f/i.

RE: cai question
somehow I managed to have just enough offset to keep a check engine light from coming where the pipe and the tb were off set. I made the mistake of fixing it instead of leaving well enough alone. Since I fixed it I can't get the offset quite right to trick the maf and with it aligned it triggers system lean codes p0171 and p0174. With everything back to stock no light. BBK (after a 10 minute heated discussion with the tech) admitted I have one of the bad pipes without the maf sensor reduction. It cost me $60 because I'm too stupid to keep better track of receipts or where I buy from.
