Very dissapointed by duals and gt takeoffs

RE: Very dissapointed by duals and gt takeoffs
I have manual GT takeoffs with an "H".
They will get slightly louder over time, but not much.
Personally, I don't like the sound of loud V6's.
That's why I got the takeoffs. For looks anda deeper tone.

Why does everyone want loud? Advertise to the whole world that you have a 6? When I had my MRT I noticed then when it turned heads, some of them were laughing while they turned.

Every week there is a new thread about which is the best exhaust. Exhaust tones are just like the color of your car, it is all about personal preference. There are people that swear one muffler sounds awesome, and other people think it is terrible. The best thing to do is just listento as many sound clips as you can and pick out the exhaust which sounds best to YOU.
Now as far as quality and some overall notes.
Inexpensive:
GT Take-Offs (give them 1-2k miles to break in before you give up on them)
Good Kit:
Pypes dual exhaust with x-pipe kit (great all around kit)
High Quality Kit:
Ford Racing Performance Parts V6 Dual exhaust kit (excellent quality and sounds great, one of top rated kits)
That is a good starting point, but there are some great sounding mufflers out there if you want to spend the money, such as Borla etc. We had the H vs X discussion several times, my personal preference is to stick with the X pipe. Do a search and read through some of the more extensive exhaust discussion threads we have had.

Anyways, I want everyone to know I'm a 6er. That way when I blow them away on the road, they'll think twice.

My GT manual take-off is quiet when it needs to be
and loud enough to attract the attention of
the Police when getting it above 3K RPMs.
It has been broken in with about 10K of miles.
