It seems like the rule of thumb is 3.73's for a 5-speed, especially if you are going to go FI and 4.10's for an automatic. Why do you think you would have been disappointed with 3.73's?

The 4.10's aren't as noticeable as I thought. The way everyone was talking and saying "4.10's are way too much" almost like it made the car undriveable. Guys at work were saying it was too much. So when I got them, I expected to not be able to even keep my wheels from turning and my rpm's on the freeway to be redlined!! Maybe I'm exaggerating but, I am really quite happy with the 4.10's.....with what I can feel so far.

btw, I love your spider-pig avatar!!!

Did you tune your car to match the gear ratio. I noticed a bigger difference when I tuned my car after I got my 3.73's.

I did re tune it. As a matter of fact, it failed the first time and the car wouldn't start!! Scared the hell out of me. But yeah, I finally did get it tuned. I've been very easy on it, so maybe that's why I can't notice. Plus I think I was expecting something different. Actually, I like the way it responds better than what I anticipated. Basically, to me anyhow, it has a smoother feel than I expected.
