Default Calling all 07 Auto's

Ok, I have a buddy, whos Gf just got a 07 6 Banger. He says it has a Posi in it. I belive him on that part, but he swears it stock. Now he is pretty well up on cars but he doesnt know anything about a S197 like he thinks he does. He has sworn a lot of things about my car that are not true because our cars are somewhat different from something Ford has ever made before. Anyways, I just want to atleast know if, atleast some of them are stock with a Posi.

He is probably talking about traction control. This is bundled with anti-lock brakes as an option. Some have it and some don't.

+1. But a stock s197 v6 does not have a locking differential. Make him do a little burnout.. that will be all the proof he should need.

No, he is much smarter than that, He help me put on my headers. He knows what a Posi is, and they have tested it. I was just making sure that there were not any auto 07 with a Tlock in the rear, so it has to be aftermarket. It just pisses me off because he thinks its stock even though its used

No Posi. None of the Mustang V6s have a posi rear end, that's for previous years as well.

As for the car your speaking of it very well might have posi and if it does its not stock.

Well you said he bought it used? Maybe the person before him put one in and they forgot to tell him?

NO S197 V6 Mustangs(all years)ever came from the factory with posi. He's either thinking traction control is posi, which of course it isn't OR the previous owner installed it. It SHOULD be available as an option!
