Default Bamachips x3 question

Tomorrow in the morning i'm taking my car to the mechanic to install 8.8 rear axle and 3.73 gears.. I got my X3 from bamachips today and the question is... is there any specific instructions on how to upload the tunes to my car or just follow step by step on the x3 screen? do i have to create a backup of my factory tune or its is already in the tuner?? Thanks..

Im pretty sure you follow the steps on the screen but about the factory tune...im interested to know this too...

If i had a 91 race tune on my car and i had to take it in for something, is there a default button i can hit?

Just plug it in and follow the instructions on the screen. The first thing the SCT will do is backup your factory tune. Really easy.

I really like it. It looks nice, and there's a noticable difference with the 4.6.

+1

I want to know how much of a difference there is too! If you have the time you should do a tune without those things installed and let us know how much of a difference there is with just the tune.

Mine should be here on Thursday, and I can't wait! The only thing that sucks is every time you do an upgrade, it seems as if you have to upgrade your tunes for $115 each time also...uugghh!!
