Default should i get new headers?

i was wondering if it is worth getting new headers on my 05 V6, could anybody recommend a name brand and how much it may cost, or could somebody give a reason why i may not need to get them, i do have a ram air hood, and am going to get a C&L intake, new throttle body, and a dual exhaust and was wondering if the headers would be a good complimant to these.
thank you!

im going to go ahead and say yes to getting new headers. but for your benefit, im going to move this to the 4.0 specific section. you will probably get more help there.

I have them, I would def. recomend them. I just bought mine off of Ebay and they looked and were the same craftsmanship as the JBAs you will pay 400+ for. You will hear people say they dont add power but they do, it is noticeable. Also the more mods you get the more power potential they have. The help you when you get the duals to because the 4.0s have a tendency to sound ricey but with the right mufflers and headers and tips they sound pretty mean.

So as for me, a deffinite buy off of ebay, I got mine for 150 to my door and put them on myself. If you or someone you know will help you and knows how to put headers on these are a pretty easy. But if you arent confident enough you can proably take it to a good shop and they will put them on for 200 or that is what I was quoted, so they are still cheaper than JBAs

Depends on your budget. If you have the money, go for it. But to be honest, people have seen very minimal gains from headers on an NA car. Probably 5hp MAX. On the other hand, they say it deepens the exhaust a bit, plus they look a hell of a lot better than the stock manifolds.

So if you got the dough and don't expect much in the way of performance gains, go for it.

^that's the way I would go. I hear they are actually decent. And since they don't make much of a difference anyway, might as well go with the cheap option. Sure as heck look better than stock!

I am telling you, Go the EBay route, they are cheaper and they are really good quality, from what I have heard they just take the name plate stamper off of the pypes headers and make them as cheapos and I can believe it. Mine are great and the are Stainless so they wont rust.

Don't know what the difference is, or if one is better than the other, but w/ shipping they are about the same price
