That would be the Thermostat. Take off your air intake hose, Remove the Thermostat housing, put in new thermostat, Make sure the gasket is tight and set in right, check the hoses for leaks and im not sure if there is is a gasket for the housing.
Any more questions feel free to ask!

Ive never heard of it leaking before. and im not sure what may have caused it. How many miles do you have on your stang?

I just know my way around my engine pretty good and all you had to say was coolent leak and under throttle body lol.

hmmm... the thermostat might have gotten stuck. How was your engine temp looking?

A thermostat will run you like 10 bux from Kragen when the water heats the metal (usually to about 175 degrees) it opens it acts like a door way so cool water goes into the block and when it reaches a certain temp, the thermostat opens to let it back into the radiator to cool and when cool water touches it it closes.

Sounds to me like it was stuck and it may have torn the gasket. Check the area round it and if you have to replace a gasket use some high temp gasket sealer also

Alright well inspect the area. if you don't know how it goes together use your phone to take pictures of it before disassembling it. Check for Broken Gaskets, Cracked Hoses, and i would definitely change out the thermostat.

Once youve done this and put her all back together, fill er back up! DONT USE HOSE WATER!!! this will rust your block and shortens the life of your hoses, radiator, water pump, and thermostat!

Good luck!
