sarcastic comments like " extended warranty helps " doesn't solve any problems! I had the same leak and the garage wanted around $300 when I realized I could do it myself-esp after reading the HELPFUL comments in this thread.

Cracked thermostat housing. very common. A simple search will reveal this.

Maybe he has the TB that the collant runs thru hence the
TB collant by-pass mod for the 05s and some 06es?
It could be one of the small hoses that goes to the TB?
