Default I need some help here

I have 07 V6 and its stock. The main problem is that its stock. I need help in the following areas. I want it to sound better. Ive done reasearch about dual exhaust and i really dont want to go through all the work of having to do the bumber and all. Ive heard multiple sound clips of xpipes and flowmasters and american thunder but alot of them are dual. I want to keep my single exhaust. Any help as to what sounds best?

Also ive thought about a tuner. What would you recommend? Im looking to increase my power without going bankrupt. Please help!

Also what about cold air intake? Is it worth it. What are the pros and cons?

welcome to the forums. first off, for dual exhaust it would cost u about $500- $700 installed and everything. Single exhaust doesnt sound as good, but is cheaper and around $150 - $300 for the muffler + installation(no idea about price). you wont get much hp increase from exhaust unless u do other mods as well. if u have to get a single exhaust, then get the borla system. it is a little more expensive, but sounds great. just a little better than the flowmasters

srry for the double post. i have the flowmasters and i think they sound the best. a tuner will cost about $400 and increase hp for about 15-20 hp. the SCT Xcal 3 and Diablosport predator are the most popular tuners and the same price.

its best to get a cold air intake (or cai) at the same time as a tuner since then it has the most impact. however, dont get a cai alone. if u have to, get a tuner alone as it will have a bigger impact. u will gain about 25-30 hp from a tuner/ cai combo. it will also increase mpg by a small amount( but who cares anyways )

hope this helped

If your going with a tuner go with the X cal. combo from bama..

Once you start researching on the site you will find that one of the best mods you can do to your car is a Tuner.Cold air intake.

checkout bamachips.com

Ive heard the flow masters true duals that my friend had welded up and I kid you not it sounded like a stock GT.

Mean and deep sound.

I would start with CAI and tune together. you really get the most out of it of all your options.. I got a C&L intake and sct tuner (evolution tuned) a month ago and I've loved it since. Duals are also a nice touch. I don't honestly think there's a hp difference between duals and single back but duals sound cooler! and like dunebuggy said get the single borla. nothing beats borla in exhaust.

personally, i went for sound first and got the duals(since they look MUCH better than the single). if you have the cash, then get the dual borla system (over $1000), otherwise, get the single borla or dual flowmasters.

Good Luck and Have Fun with the MOD BUG!

If you want performance, CAI/Tune combo like said above. Sound/looks Dual exhaust, i have the magnaflow set-up, sounds great little but louder than a stock GT i think but not quite as deep but I also like the sound of Pypes dual exhaust kit for our cars, but i've heard they're a pain to line up correctly, but cheaper. just figure out what you want first and do some research.
