well, its definately not something im washing it with. I have a honda fit, f-150, and the stang and wash all of them the same. the stang is the only car that water beads off of all the glass. the stang is kept out of the sun except when i drive on weekends, so im thinking its something from ford when it was new.
I think it is a sort of "film" on the inside/outside...but I have no clue! (My GF wrote on the inside of my window when it fogged up... I'm too scared to wash it off now because it looks so clear).
are you saying that yours doesnt bead water off of the glass like its been coated in rain ex? ive never even windexed my glass, and my car has never been waxed or washed with any type of soap. only water...
Maybe the stang is the only vehicle that you drool all over while you're washing it...
Sweet sig pic.
OP: Dunno, honestly I would guess it's whatever you're cleaning it with. My Pony beads water as well (not just the glass but everywhere) and I've never waxed it, but I think my soap (some aggressive, expensive commercial-grade crap) has wax or something in it because it always beads and no other soap ever has. So that seems like the obvious answer. But who knows. The same soap you use doesn't bead on any other vehicle, and you've never used rain-x or anything?
