Default Help

Ok well my I have a mgw short shift in my car. And Im having trouble getting it to go into gear in frist and second at high rpms. Also after doing a burn out. Can anyone help me with issue. Im thinking about taking it to ford and having them lok at the clutch and the sycro. should i put the stock ****er back in or not. If its the clutch can someone recumend a good clutch kit.

Ensure clutch disengagement with full pedal depression.
Bleed the clutch.
Check the MGW install for fastners that might have come loose.
Having Ford look at the clutch and synchros would require removal
of the tranny for clutch inspection and disassembly of the transmission
for synchro inspection. Both time and labor intensive.
I would suspect maybe a bad throw out bearing hydraulic assembly.
Once again, check for complete clutch disengagement at
full pedal depression. And bleed that clutch.
