Wow Where to begin?
Im looking at purchasing a 2007 v6 mustang 5 speed. Just have some questions about aftermarket products.
Are there any companies besides super six that make heads and cams for the v6? If so has anyone installed em, and what kind of results did ya get?
Throttle body and MAF....good upgrades? or not so good?
Best CAI? I usually go with K&N but is there one out thats amazing for the mustang?
Rear end...how good are the rear ends on the new mustangs and are there ring and pinion kits, and whats the stock ratio?
Programmers...which company?!
thats all I got for now lol....sorry theres so many questions!!!!!

I can help with what I've seen/read...
For 4.0s:
Zabtek Throttle Bodies seem to be the favored throttle body upgrade.
Not many MAF upgrades that i'm aware of.
To give you an idea, I run a JLT II CAI with BAMA tunes. Check out VMP and Brenspeed... all three companies are awesome. You will more than likely WANT a tuner whenever you upgrade your intake for maximum gain... I have an SCT Xcal III
Stock ratio is 3.31 for all v6 mustangs. Yes, there are upgrade ring and pinion kits available.
If you're looking to go into performance you may want to look into an 8.8in takeoff from a mustang gt - it'll give you more room for performance and one can be bought for a relatively fair price with gears and an LSD already installed.

This forum is a great place but dont expect it to revolve around you
The only heads and cam's i've seen are from supersixmotorsports. They seem to know what they are doing though.
I don't know about the MAF, but Zabtek and BBK are the only throttle bodies i've seen. I've heard from independant sources that the Zabtek doesnt add any HP to your vehicle until you go F/I. But it gives increased throttle response. I'm going with the BBK.
As far as CAI's go i've seen that a CAI is a CAI is a CAI.
Rear End... alot of people are jumping to the GT takeoff rear 8.8" w/ the gears they want installed. Newtakeoff.com is a good place for these.
Programmers, as far as i've seen SCT is the most popular way to go.
