Default pics of new battery and smoked out tail lights

Installed some new goodies today - new Braille light weight (6 pounds) battery and smoked out tail light film stips. Replace the Odyssey 16 pound battery with the Braille unit, works very well. The smoked out tail light film strips are very easy to install, be sure to use a installing card like the one the guys use to install window tint to be sure to get out the bubbles. Pics below. Jack

Very nice mods.

Is that braile lightweight battery strong enough to power the whole car for a year or more? I know the odyssey battery was a reputable lightweight replacement, but never heard of the braille battery. How much was the braile battery and the odyssey battery?

The Odyssey battery runs about $180 and the Braille unit about the same. Tire Rack sells the Braille units. Be sure and order a mounting frame kit when you order the battery. Both the Odyssey and the Braille units are dry cell design and therefore completely sealed. These units are designed to last way longer than any stock battery. If the 6 pound race unit like mine seems a little to "little" for what you think your needs are, then get the 11 pound unit, this item can handle anything but retains light weight and size. Check these batteries out on the Tire Rack website. Take care, Jack.
