Default exhaust modifications?

So i stopped by local muffler shop today to see what are my options to give me 07 v6 mustang a more deeper sound. He told for 400 he could convert it to a dual exhaust using flowmaster 40 series. When i talked to another shop.. they said that would be a bad route to go down because it would end up sounding like a euro car ... which i DO NOT want...

So im here to ask you guys.. Whats the best way to approach this. Should i stay with single exhaust and put on the american thunder by flowmaster or go dual?

Also. could i just simply add the stock mufflers taken off a gt? Single i mean..

the single exhaust american thunder axleback is a very good sound for a single. I say if u want duals then get duals... forget what the other guy said cuz no matter wat ur car WONT sound like a v8 cuz simply put its not. so it really depends on wat u want if u want duals get duals the flow 40s sound good... and so does the AT axleback

My friend has flowmasters.. sounds like a honda at high rpms but low rpms are nice.

Nuh uh...My exhaust system sounds vastly better than a stock GT at ignition, idle, revving, driveby, WOT, etc etc etc, and not just in my own opinion, by friends, strangers, enthusiasts alike.

Get the FRPP Dual exhaust kit Ford came out with designed for our V6. It sounds great.
