does anyone know how to remove the front fender
I have a 2005 v6 mustang with the tiniest little dent in my passenger side front fender, and it is driving me nuts. Does anyone know how to remove the front fender? I want to carefully bang out the dent

If it's a small dent, Go to autozone and get a sucktion cup for $5-10 bucks and try this. For a large dent a plunger works best. Once my son had his girl on the hood of my truck and with alittle work with a plunger got it right out. I now have a few hail dents in the hood of my new truck and am going to try to get them out myself with the small sucktion cup from autozone.

As GrayPony stated, call a reputable paintless dent repairman. I had a Toyota Sequoia that had some hail damage and was very skeptic of the results of paintless dent repairs. I am EXTREMELY meticulous with my vehicles but I also know factory paint is what I definitely want to retain if at all possible. I can attest that the paintless dent repair worked 100%. I was floored at the remarkable results and I consider myself having an eye for perfection. I would not hesitate to make the call if I were you even if it meant I had to make a road trip to the nearest reputable service center that does paintless dent repair. PHENOMENAL results IMO.

I'm a college student, and don't have a lot of money. (I'm paying for my car myself) So a painless dent repair man is out of the question. I did try using "the dent king" which is sort of like the suction cups, except it uses hot glue. The problem is that it is a dent that is right at the corner, where the headlight is so it did not work as good as the box said.

an old lady hit my car last month, i am in the process of replacing front bumper and passenger fender. heres the pic....
Here are the steps for fender removal
Tools needed:
stubby phillips screwdriver.
10mm deep well socket
ratchet
ratchet extention
Pliers
1. open hood, and remove bolts at the top of the fender (all of the bolts are 10mm)
2. remove front splash gaurd in your tire well,(you will need a stubby phillips screwdriver to pop out the plastic "rivits" that are holding the splash gaurd on) you will need to access the nuts that are ancoring your front bumper to the fender. There are 3 10mm nuts to remove.
3. remove passenger rocker panel. (actually, i just popped the front part of it loose from the "christmas tree" anchors, just enough to expose the 2 bolts at the bottom of the fender. Remove the 2 bolts. They are also 10mm.
4. open your door and remove the last 10mm nut holding the fender on. you will need a extention for your rachet to remove this. Be careful not to let your fender scratch your door since it is already nearly off of the car.
5. lastly, unplug the antenna wire (yellow) from the antenna. It will probably be on there good, i had to use pliers to gently remove it.
