I am about to order the SCT Xcalibrator and can not locate the 4 digit computer code in the car that is needed. Can anyone tell me where this is or how to get to it? Thanks.

 

You can find it in the engine compartment on the passenger side towards the front. There should be a label on the computer (silver) with 4 digits like FJY1. I got the tuner and it makes a huge difference. Good luck.

 

Hey jjpony...what kind of difference? Better gas milage? Do you have a 5-spd or Auto? Can you spin the tires w/o water on the road?

 

I have a manual. Just installed it last night so too soon to tell about gas mileage. Spin the tires? You bet!! I turned off the traction control and oh boy. I'm not a speed shifter by any means but I was getting a third gear scratch easily.
