Default Christmas around the corner...

Ok Christmas is getting close and I still haven't told my parents anything I want for the stang...

Based on my mods what do you think I should get next? Here are my options:

Option #1: 8.8 GT Rear Axle w/ 3.73's or 7.5 T-lock and 3.73's - I'll never be able to decide between these two, but I'm tired of being peg-legged. Is it worth it to spend the extra for the 8.8?

Option #2: Suspension Kit. I'm thinking FRPP or Eibach springs, Tokico D-Spec or HP shocks and struts, and any other suggestions for more components? Or any suggestions for a good complete kit?

Option #3: Some nice 18" Rims and Tires. Only 8,500 miles on my stock pirelli's so maybe I should wait...Idk.

I would say get the 7.5 t-loc and 3.37's if your not planning to go f/i.

However, if down the road your planning to go f/i you should spend the extra money for the 8.8 now.

edit: Quick reply is too quick! lol

^^ 7.37's? That is some high gear ratio (I know you meant 3.73 ^^)

Well do you track your car (drag or racetrack)? Do you want to go F/I in the future? You enjoy taking turns fast on the street? Tell us how you use your car and then we can give better opinions !

Well never tracked the car before, but I would like to. I would love to go F/I in the future but with a 4-5K price tag I don't know when that will happen (going to college next year). For now I just like having fun on the street and one wheel peels aren't cutting it and neither is the stance(I want to lower it).

8.8 Rear End w/ 3.73s is $879 + shipping + installation so I'm looking at over 1k?

T-lock + 3.73's is $400 + installation so $600-700?

And for suspension I don't even know where to start. I think I just want a big kit with the most popular components for simplicity.

The eibach or FRPP kit with some Tokico D-Specs would put a very aggressive stance on your car, and you would have a lot more fun on the street. What tire size you running?

Okay so you got 235/55/17R tires. Those aren't that bad, but my vote still goes towards the suspension. Later in the future you could go wider and lower pro, which makes lowered cars seem even better.

What rims would you be considering if you went down that road?

I'm getting 18" BBS style. You know the multi-spoke type?

I'm thinking I'll go with the T-lock and 3.73's

As for suspension, FRPP/Eibach springs with D-specs would be nice. Anything other important suspension parts to go with that? Panhard bar?
