Default I want a navigation head unit...Where do I start?

I am looking to spend around 600 to replace my Shaker 500 head unit. What is a decently priced head unit and what will I need such as harnesses. Is 600 too low?
Thanks
Rett

Beware of $500 used head units from forum members with low post count
advertising in posts about head units. The for sale area is for selling items....
