Bama Race Tune for DD
Uggghhh...I start vegging in front of the keyboard and wind up spending money...
So, I just ordered a 93 Race tune from Bama. It looked like a FEW folks were using this as their DD...was this a bonehead move on my part?
Seems like the guys that replied about the 93 Race loved it.

Yeah, I've been running the 93 Race tune for about 4 months now; daily driven. It's great.
Like MR305 said, I first used the torque/performance tunes, but once I used the race tune I could not go back. You'll love it.

I use the 91 Race as my DD and honestly, I dont think I can ever use anything else. I love how this tune performs, too bad Ford couldn't deliver our cars like this from the factory. It takes a little getting used to since the throttle response is much greater than stock. I get a smile on my face every time I drive her even after months of being tuned

Do keep in mind that if you take your car to the strip, I bet you will get better times with the tq tune than the race, as the tq tune is easier to launch thereby giving you better 60' times.

I use the 93 race tune for DD and have no problems. I did reflash to the 93 torque tune for driving in the snow though because I really don't need that much throttle response when the streets are slippery. I'm sure it would be fine though if I was careful. I liked the 93 race tune so much that I even kept it all summer when 93 octane was $4.60+ per gallon in my area.
