My Volkswagon had a rear differiential but it was
noting like the S187 differential.
guess that was a bad comparo as the toyotas are like the 9".

you shouldnt have to reset the back lash, a good how to you should be able to install an LSD DIY. gears are not a DIY mod tho

only differance between the s197 rear and the sn95 rear is the s197s is slightly wider, center section is the same

To accomidate the S197s 45 and 50mm offsets of the S197 rims.
