I will play devil's advocate here...I think, for a grand, it is a smokin' deal.

You will get dramatically improved performance and have zero warranty issues to worry about. If the warranty is a concern, it is a smart move. If not, then one of the aftermarkets is the way to go.

I, too, wish Ford sold the CAI by itself as I already have the FRPP. I would like to run an OEM CAI, but no such luck.

Can you extrapolate on how Uncle Sam is going to purchase you a
ford racing performance package for the v6? I would like to get in
on that action. Please clue us in.

Oh nuthing bad. I'm going to use my income tax to get it. Thanks illin I guess you can say I'm addicted way too many things I see I like.
