so while i was at the dealer today with my wife to pick up her car i went over to my bud and we hooked up the mustang to the wds. we datalogged the short and long term fuel trims and they were right on! he was impressed so AFE did it extra HP and NO TUNE REQUIRED! but i cant wait till tuesday to put my tune back.

Avoiding warranty Voiding with tune. What would i have to do. Stock programming tweaks my every nerve. If i tune it what do i have to do to it so the factory wont know for warranty work. I saw a post that said to put stock tune and some miles on it. I was wondering why put some miles after you revert to the old tune?

scott, i think you are refering to the need for the cunfuser to relearn your driving style the confuser in these things is a learning confuser. if you drive it slow it will adjust itself for that. i drive mine kinda in the mid range but still jump on it from time to time. when we first did a dyno after putting the CAI on the dyno was kind inconsistant. we unhooked dthe battery went to lunch and when we reran it it was much better. on other thing when i talked to sct they said when you reflash to stock i resets the confuser (wipes it) so dealer would only see the the bat was unhooked. i think ill try this and bring it over to my friend at the dealer and see if this is true. ill let you guys know
