Another related question: You know when you're going pretty fast on a curved road and you hit a bump or a break in the highway, the whole car shakes and feels as if the tires are going to lose traction and you lose some control. I know it is due to the Mustang's live axle.

What is the best upgrade to counter that instability when going over bumps? Is it better springs, dampers, sways, control arm or what?

Stiffer dampers and a Watts Link.

We have a few different options

The Agent47 and Steeda braces have been our best sellers

If you are lowered and you didnt address the issue of bump steer,
thats what you are seeing along with the OEM panhard bar set-up.
Replace the panhard bar with a watts link and get a bumpsteer
kit. You can also relocate the rear of the reverse L arms to
negate the effects of lowering.

That Watts Link sounds kind of serious and spendy. I'm not a racer. I was just wondering if there was a simpler solution to not having the car skip when it hits bumps on curves.

They dont do the same thing hence the different names.
Strut Tower braces are for those with better gripping
bigger tires to handle the increased turning G-Forces.
The stock tires dont benifit from a brace.
I would be looking to see if you have an A-Arm brace
as Ford left them off some S197s for some reason.

If my GT hadn't come with one from the factory, it would have got one pretty quickly. It helps maintain better front tire grip while cornering and may affect chassis vibrations a little, so it's not something that you'd constantly be aware of. If you're sensitive enough to what the car "feels like" as it is being operated, and occasionally drive hard enough - you probably would notice the difference.

Yep. It was pretty much the same price everywhere.
