Do the mipipes differ from the stock midpipes? Would you say they flow better or the same?

You only need a driver-side pipe; you can use the passenger side stock pipe.

Get a set of mufflers per your choice, and with a driver-side mid/over-axle pipe, you only need to tie into the stock piping.

There's other posts on here with more details and pics.

Yes you can do that, but I bought both sides so I had brand new piping all the way around. The bends in the dynomax pipes were smoother than the stock piping according to my friend who installed them too. I don't really think it would make that much difference but I just went and spent the extra 30 bucks for the other side so it all matched.

I really want to hear a clip of your car, I'm really intrigued to hear how it sounds. When you coming back home?

I will be home at the end of this month. My wife let me hear it over the phone today and man it sounded smooth and sweet! My friend also told me that with the headers I had installed and the larger tips on the stock GT mufflers that the sound is a lot more aggressive when getting on it.

All the items, mid-pipes and X-pipe will cost $240 [$40 for each mid-pipe and $98 for the X-pipe, rest went to shipping cost]

That is around the price I was going to spend on just a new muffler instead.. the SLP Power-flo. Now you are making me debate between the two =x!

That is how the power-flo sounds like.. once I can compare the two I will maybe finally make a choice haha

Did the dynomax X-pipe go up in price? I got mine for 72.00.

Well man you are going to spend money on shipping no matter when you buy this stuff online unless the company offers free shipping, but even then you will notice that the price is 9 times out of 10 higher than other places to make up for shipping costs. Remember I was saying you need to shop around and be patient if you are going to piece together the exhaust to get the prices and parts you are looking for, because the reality is that converting our cars to dual is a pretty pricey venture. Kits are awesome but will cost and mufflers alone are expensive enough. Surf the classifieds in other forums and this one and you might find something that will start you off!

I've shopped around, RockAuto has raised their prices since you bought them. I checked Ninosport, it costs $129 for the midpipes with "free' shipping..

I've tried to look around for mid pipes off a GT but no luck with that either unfortunately.. So far this is the cheapest route I can find for a dual exhaust system. I wish I could find a local vendor for the parts.. we shall see.
