Default take off parts

i was just looking at newtakeoff.com and i saw a couple things that i might add to my v6 very soon. first was the mustang gt coupe complete suspension kit they had. it is only $250 and i think i have read before on here that if you add this the car will perform much better on the street. is this true? they also have a complete cat-back duel exhaust conversion for the v6. is this a good kit b/c the price is great. lastly, will thegt grill with the fog lights fit in the the v6's grille?
thanks, wynsboy

no the gt grill/fogs won't be a direct fit into your V6 grill.

The cat back exhaust is a good thing and will work out well.

The GT suspension... I wouldn't do it if it were my car, I would go with aftermarket suspension. It will cost more, but you will get better performance out of it.

The GT grill wil not fit the V6 bumper shell.
Been there done that.
Its actually bigger and uses different locations
for the attachment tabs.
The GT mustang coupe suspension (springs/struts/shocks)
are not a good upgrade for the V6 coupe. Its a total waste
of time and money. The 34mm front and 20mm rear GT takeoff
sway bars are the only GT take-offs recommended
in the suspension department. Did you get a base V6
with a 31.5mm front sway bar and no (missing)
rear sway or the PonyPackage with the 31.5mm front
and the added 18mm rear sway bar?
As for the exhaust, HERE is the low dollar ticket for the V6.

IMO.... the worthwhile items from the GT are the front/rear sways and brakes..... and the 8.8 rear of course.

+1

The shocks/struts and springs from the GT were meant specifically for the GT since it has a heavier engine so the spring rates have to compensate for that. Stick with the front and rear sway bars if you're looking for suspension mods that are coming off of a GT
