hey guys, ive looked around and cannot find any aftermarket cams for my 05 V6. i know some people have said that it doesnt give much hp, but the other reason i want it is because i love hearing engines cam hard. the sound of an engine going "glug glug glug" is just freakin awasome. can anybody tell me if there are aftermarket cams for a v6 and were i can get some.

There's slim pickin's in terms of cams for the 4.0L V6. PowerHouse made a few sets but discontinued them. Ranebowcyxx ran them in his 4.0L/auto for a few seasons, and while he was NA he dyno'd at 278 rwhp. I think his heads were ported too, along with other supporting mods, but that's a nice gain. Too bad they're discontinued.

SuperSix Motorsports offers heads (reworked Ford heads) and cams (regrinds). Nobody that I know of has posted their dyno numbers with that set up.

BlowBy Racing is supposedly researching cams for the 4.0L, but they are not close to offering heads any time soon (I received that reply directly from them on another forum).

damn... well hopefully they get some soon. i saw a dude who had some heads and cams on his 05 v6 and that thing sounded beastly...
