You know, after hearing about so many people having accidents with stock rear ends when making slow-speed left turns on wet roads, I'd say that uprading the differential is a high priority, and might as well toss in some gears at the same time.
Then a custom tune with CAI, and exhaust.

Let me throw my list in with everybody elses. Seems like CAI/tune + gears is right up there. Here goes simply based on my own mustang adventure:
1. CAI of your choice
2. Tune of your choice (I have Bamachips 91 Race Tune & IT IS GOOOOD!!)
3. FRPP T-Lock
4. FRPP 4.10s (like I said in another thread, this + the tune creates wheel spin at the back from a mere 1/4 throttle; I lay rubber up to almost 30 mph at WOT but I only weight 140; it's considerable less with a copilot. How streetable? I was really amazed at how steetable 4.10s are in the auto; at 70mph, I'm doing 2400rpm/or 2 needle widths below 2500 whatever that is; I get 23mpg combined if I granny it; 20mpg with burnouts and 100mph+ on EMPTY roads-we all do it so I'm not apologizin HA!@; always get at least 300miles/tank with extreme driving as per above; calculated by total miles driven on tank/total gallons added at pump)
5. ASP UDP (i felt this immediately after pulling out of JBA's parking lot; my butt dyno said YES!)
6. Axle Back Muffler of your choice (Single Flowmaster A/T with 10K miles on it and it sounds fantastic. After my gears, my neighbor took it for a spin and thought I had a GT! I opened the hood and he was astonished that it was a V6!)
This is all I have so far. I've killed an Audi A4 and a late model Beamer of some type. Maybe the other drivers sucked? Next on my list is:
7. One-Piece Al Driveshaft (maybe Shaftmasters; still percolatin' on this)
8. Rear Sway Bar (thinkin Eibach's kit?)
9. Lower control arms (who's best? I have pretty decent axle hop from WOT starts; more like a shudder! Would these help this?)
10. Coil Pack and Wires (My buds at JBM have installed several of Granitelli's Coil Packs and say the customers love em.)
