We never found the bullet. The cop thinks it was a BB and probably bounced off or disintegrated. My insurance recommended Safelite Auto, has anyone else used them or had any problems?

I used Safelite quite a few times and it's always been good for me.
My experience with them is flawless so far.

I don't know if you have ALL STATE Insurance but you're in good hands with Safelite as well.

could also been a small rock at high velocity..... blew out my bro's window while trimming. trimmer was kicking up some little rocks and one knocked out his passenger door window. fortunately, it was an easy DIY.

Now that you mentioned it... It would, especially with the slant angle of the windshield.
The side windows are another story though.

We decided to go with Safelite. They are about $150 less than having Ford do it. Will let you know if it goes well.

You should start packing heat. Here in the Great State of TX it total legal to use deadly force to protect ones property "at night". Suck still that your window got broke. The S.O.B will PAY!!!!!!!!!! it was probably a camero driver

Safelite came to install the glass, I had to leave before they finished but had to point out some obvious glass that he missed vacuuming. My wife was there and after he got done installing the glass she noticed a nice chip on the outside corner.

They have to let it "dry" for a week before they can remove it because the sealant would get "everywhere"

This just keeps getting better.

hey man it could be worse. i had a lot of enemies in high school and some girl smashed every single window out in my cadillac (they had tints too), my insurance company dropped me a week before this happening. the back window alone without tint was like $2000.
