Angry WHY ME!!!

My Friday:
Get home from work and on the front door is my C&L combo from Bama. Can't wait to put it on, I'm on top of the world.

So I take the wife out to our 1 year anniversary dinner last night and when we get to the car the back window looks all frosted over... Upon closer inspection someone has shot a hole about midway down the back glass on the left side. The entire window is shattered. By the time the Cop leaves the window is caving in. Oh plus I have to drive 1.5 hours home.

Top of the world to throwing up in disgust.

Question can I get this replaced to factory specs with the defrost and everything? Also will it ever seal right? and can Ford do it?

Thanks.

well i got great news yes ford can do it, and they will rape you right in your butt.... have a local collision center do the job. they will get you the best price and do the best job. yes it will seal and they may have to order the window from ford for the defroster to work. but cheer up it can all be fixed!!!

It stinks to have anything like this happen, but glass is one of the easiest things to fix. I'd sure rather have a window shattered than have a shot hit the sheetmetal and dent it/tear a hole.

A reputable shop will put things right in about an hour, defroster and all.

Like Torch said it should seal fine. I Had to have my front window changed in the middle of last winter. They chaged it in the parking lot where I work.

you could try safelite auto glass, they come to your house or work and replace the glass.
