ProCharger for 2005 v6 mustang
Does anyone know if the ProCharger super charger is out for the 2005 mustang yet? Also if anyone has used their products what kind of HP increase should one expect? Is there any other modifications that need to occur? tune? tranny ? etc... Any help here is appreciated.

Not out for the V6 yet. I don't even think it's in development. There are basically no turbo or supercharger kits out for the '05 V6 at this time.

Based on data I've seen posted for older V6s, a 50% gain is about what you could expect. The auto tranny is the same as the GT, so no mod's required there. A tune would definitely be needed.

Yea we have a stang 4.0 and a explorer sport trac 4.0. I realy want to get one of these units but the boss (wife) wont go for the cost. It's the only big jump I have found out there for the 4.0 so far besides nitrous. To be honest nitrous dosent apeal to me with haveing to tote around a volitle little bottle of boom around in my car and haveing to refill it all the time. I have also herd horror stories of what it can do to an engine. The EE Xcharger works with a stock motor and is there for the fun at all times. Would like for my trac cause it weighs so damn much. I wonder though if the charger gets you up around 280hp and you add the other goodies like chip and exaust mods mabe our 4.0 can hit the 300 hp Gt mark, that would be pretty cool.

It seems cool, but I'm really a much bigger TC fan. I hate the parasitic draw that a SC has. I'd trade the parasitic SC for a little turbo lag any day.
Hopefully one day someone will come out with a turbo kit for this motor.
