Anybody ever had their diff. upgraded by a shop and how much were the labor costs for such this job.

Not to take over a thread, but I was also wondering the same thing.. I know were' not looking for Quotes, but a general cost to get the t-loc added in with new gears?!

You guys are going to have to get some local quotes. Make sure you get it from a reputable shop, gears are not an easy install. Also make sure that they guarantee their gear install to protect you from the whine. All in all its gonna run you around the same as buying an 8.8 with gears of your choice already installed. Think about your future plans for the car. If boost is in your future your better off with an 8.8, if not a 7.5 should be fine. All of these questions have been asked before and there are plenty of threads on this forum about this.
