The way I chose what percentage of tint I wanted is looking at my friends cars. I don't think the picture does a lot with tinting...it looks a lot darker in the picture than what it really is sometimes.
Here is the back window:

You must have the warranty fior your tint to prove the darkness %.

The whole windshield or just down to the AS-1 line?
Its as dark as you want it in my state as long as its no lower than the AS-1 line
that is present on all modern day windshields.

ok so after trying to put tint on myself it was just going to take to long and end up costing about 50 bucks. So I emailed a shop around me and asked him how much it would cost to tint my back window and side windows and he said 200$ and its life time warranty. My question is, is this a good deal or should I keep searching?

Full tint is a NO NO in Kentucky. But you can do double 0 on the strip down to the as1 line. And Cops can't touch your car here. They issue "fix it" tickets. You have to go to court with the tint in a bag and a pic of it removed.

Non-reflective tint is allowed along the top of the windshield above the manufacturer's AS-1 line.

Here is what it says for NC front windshield law.....What does this mean?...where it the AS1 line?

Goes and looks at any post 1990 vehicle with an OEM windshield.
Bout 4 inches from the top on one side or the other of the OEM windshield.
Its the AS-1 with a line below it.
Youes cants legally tint below the AS-1 line, period.
