Mine is almost exactly on +90hp right now (Hipo tune, Wet-X water/meth injection). It was on a Mustang Dyno, so the comparable Dynojet number would likely be a bit higher even. The intercooler for the X will be out late summer/early fall. That should bring another 30+ HP to the table.

Just out of curiosity, what model BMW intake did you use for the tube? I have a Steeda intake but wouldn't mind giving this a shot.

This took quite a bit of thought and work including creating a custom intake piece mating the Ford Racing filter flange to an X-Charger HiPo MAF housing, creating an intake tube from a BMW carbon fiber aftermarket piece, etc.

I am extremely pleased with the results, both in looks and performance:

I'd like to extend a thanks to my buddy Pedro down in TX (Cubican on the boards) for sharing his advice and experience doing a similar project on his car, and cutting me a good deal on some spare bits and pieces for the project.

Yeah, I should. Even if he doesn't produce something similar, he'd probably enjoy seeing it.

You're not wrong. Really the only stuff on my car I didn't do myself was install the rear end gears, and a couple exhaust welds.

Anything can be "persuaded" with enough determination and a dash of creativity.
