Default V6 one wheel does all the work?

Confused about the V6 rear end.

I am confused and always tought that it had power to both rear wheels until one wheel broke traction.

Am I wrong, and the V6 is Right rear wheel drive?

The V6 does not have the traction lock (positraction for fords).

All the power goes to the rear passenger wheel.

I have a trac-lok on order for the 7.5 rear end (and I already have my 4.10 gears), just waiting for the trac-lok to show so I can have them installed.

Yeah I understand that, but I thought traction lock only locked in when traction was lost on one wheel and put power to the other wheel.
Under normal acceleration I find it hard to believe that its only powered by one wheel.
This would cause irratic tire wear.
Guess im stubborn to understand or accept this

I was too... I couldn't believe both wheels didn't have power...

So, I backed into a mostly dead spot in my yard, and hit the gas (to find out for sure)... only 1 tire spun. I was ticked, but I ordered my trac-lok the next day.

I don't think they are, but I'm not %100 sure on that one....

I ordered the trac-lok from http://www.gefracing.com/ but they are backordered until the end of July

yes both wheels are accelerating the car under acceleration (when not peeling out).
One wheel accel would cause erratic tire wear.

one wheel powers it...if you want to know for sure lay under your car..pull the cover off the differential and see which way teh gears go...should be towards the rear passenger wheel..same as old mustangs
