Should work fine, but because it's a radio frequency based product, sound quality won't be as good as a direct wired adapter

Its compatable with any FM receiver.
Stang or otherwise...
But the audio will be compromised
when its transmitted with the FM
standards.

I have an 05 with the shaker 500. I nstead of getting that, why don't you spend the 80 bucks more and get the iSimple PXAMG. If you do make sure it is the model that is compatable with the 3G and iPod touch. It will say right on the box. Also open the box and make sure the unit revision is a xxxxxxx.3x. It has an upgraded sound chip and other internals and sounds amasing. This I know from phoning Peripheral and talking to one of there techs when my revision xxxxxx.2x made the dash wig out which was a problem with earlier models.

cheers

They make an iSimple specifically for Ford Lincoln and Mercury. I bought it and it works great. It is 100% better than the iTrip which transmitted wirelesly. It conects to your ipod and charges it. Plug and play! No need to change tracks or playlist through the ipod. Easy controls are used with radio controls. I wired mine into the center console and it stays there. Recomended if not trying to spend too much in the Car Audio area but want to listen to your mp3s. Not a big fan of the aftemarket look.

i have the "direct line" iSimple and its been working just fine with no dash malfunctions. it does have an occasional hiccup every now and then but nothing significant.
