Default Braking Upgrade Dilemma

So heres the thing I have some 18in Razors waiting to be put on probably in the spring. I was also thinking about going ahead and upgrading to the gt front rotors and caliper brackets. The problem is that I only will have about 15K on some new tires that I have for my stock 16s so I was planning on using them as winter tires but the stockers won't fit with the gt front brakes. So should I just hold off on upgrading the brakes or is it possible to change back and forth between the two for the winter? Any thoughts or opinions on the matter?

Sell the 16s and upgrade to the gt brakes...I put mine on a few weeks ago, along with painting my calipers. Not too much of a difference, you can barely feel it but you will notice it.

How does the OEM V6 PP front end handle the added
sprung weight of the bigger GT rotors?

Couple of questions. How big of a spacer would I need? Where would be the best place to get said spacer? And how easy is it to put on?

i hope that is a joke. the calipers are EXACTLY the same. they just use different brackets and dfferent rotors. basicaly its a scam by FRPP.

save and get GT500 takeoffs. the weight isnt noticable, andthe stopping power is awesome.

I finally got around to looking into upgrading. The price of the brackets is insane, I can't find them for under $42 + shipping. Newtakeoff has the rotors for $40 + 26 shipping. The brake upgrade kits can be had for $160 shipped. I'm just not convinced it's $160 worth better braking. If I knew that upgrading would help relieve the rears from dusting so much I'd probably pull the trigger.
