how much should i be paying to get my front and rear hawk brake pads intalled on my 08 mustang?
ive been told by a couple places 200 bucks
just wanted to see if this is correct

Avg. labor rate in CA is $90 per hour; TX is probably less. Regardless, a shop will probably charge 2 hours for the work.

Take 30 minutes (if that) and do it yourself. Pay nothing to have them installed.

200 bucks is fair, but not great. It's a DIY project. Go to Autozone for the caliper tool. They loan it out for free.

bought my hawk brake pads for $140 front and rear set.. and the service costs 80bucks and hour! So I installed it myself.. So i actually saved some bucks out of DIY..
