Trunk doesn't close. And it's starting to rain. Is the trunk release broken. Im pissed

 

if its starting to rain, bungee it shut from the inside and look at it when it stops lol

 

thanks will do. Everytime I hit the trunk release button the trunk makes a loud noise

 

you may have broken the spring in the lock mechanism. Or there might be something in the way :X check it and make sure nothing is hitting it. Have you installed taillights or for any reason removed the trunk liner and exposed the lock?

 

Its latched.
Unlatch it then close it.
You will have to unlatch it with the key and manually pull the latch out
with a bic pen or somehting like that....
Mine stays closed water resistant even though un-latched.
