Jack is bad from side loading.
Get it replaced for free under warranty.
Cable is a 3.5mm MONO cable.
Get a 3.5mm STEREO cable with the three
conductor STEREO plug instead of the two
conductor MONO type.

I once made the mistake of buying a "mono" patch cable (Only one ring around each end of the plug). Does your cable have two rings around each end of the plug?

If it does the same thing in other vehicles then it's obviously not the cars problem. It's either the cable or the Zune.
