turnercc, great deal! I think that's exactly what I paid, and I have to say, the sways were brand new and the packaging was awesome.

Avalanch3, I have a new set of Prothane poly bushings for the front & rear sway-bar that I didn't use because I didn't feel like burning the bushings out of the end links of the rear sway so I just left them off.

Would they have made that much of a difference?

They would of made a difference. The oem bushings are soft and allow flex, but the poly bushings give a good stiffness causing less body roll.

Polys rock and worth every penny.
You lost out on the big difference feeling by leaving them off...

07s and up 31.5mm front sway and the verts are
only different by the length and color of the links on the rear.
Never seen a 28mm front S197 sway bar.
Never.
MM is on crack with their online item descriptions.

Thanks for the tips re: poly bushings! It only took me an hour (at most) to put the sways on, so no big deal popping them off for the bushings at a later date.

What I REALLY wished I'd done (although it would have added an hour to the job) is to burn out the UCA bushing. I did the lcas, and the differential housing bushing but left the UCA in.

Oh well...

No need to burn it out if you have the install/removal tool.
Its a snap on the in vehicle installation and no torches near
the underbody or fuel tank as well..

Its a simple tool to make...

The polys on the shifter rock also and are cheap...

Yes, I have polys on my hurst shifter and they're good.

Would you mind describing the tool? I might go back in and do the UCA if the tool will work.

The only tool I could think of is using a hole saw to drill out the bushing, but then I'd still have to grind out what's left of the bushing.

I will throw a pair of calipers on the front sway I have laying on the garage floor off our 05....if it verified at 28mm I will take a pic and post it. I would swear when I measured it before that is what it came up as.

Correct on the vert links, ours are white, coups are not.

Will report back.

Ok, measured the Front Sway off our 05 V6 Vert.....28.5mm Dia. This matches what I have seen in the way of front bushing kits for the stock v6 front sway. Picture to prove it for all who don't believe me!

Later years may have larger stock bars, all I can say is this was stock on our 05. Not sure if MM is on "crack" or not based on this measurement. Here is a link to their online catalog showing the 28mm (V6) and the 34mm (GT) poly bushing kit:

http://www.mossmuscle.com/Shop/ViewP...73&SortOrder=7

Top scale on the calipers are the mm's.
