jtstakelin nice car. It actually doesn't have that bad of an idol note to it. Maybe I should stop listening to my friend who turned in his 4.0L for a Cobalt. Well, I guess you run what you love. Does anyone have a vid with an H. It would be nice to compare as I think I'm leaning toward keeping the X Pipe.

Yup. It can be done. I'll probably tune it in the spring and be done with her other than getting the rest of my wheels and tires.

Right now I have one GT manual take-off on my v6. I am thinking about adding the second one to run duals. Is there some reason I need to have an X or an H pipe? Or is there some reason I can't just run straight duals all the way back?

The crossover pipes create just enough back pressure so you don't loose any low-end torque. Plus they help even out the sound. I haven't heard a straight pipe set-up in person so I can't really judge, but I think I've heard it can be too raspy

Maybe it's just me but at certain RPM's the straight pipe sounds a little cheap(Rice).

The straight pipe setup does sound ricey...but is it because of the straight pipes or because of the mufflers?
