Default Winter Tires and Wheels

Looking at the Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25. If I get them with out the pressure sensors, will it be a big deal? Also should I stick with getting 18" wheels? Because thats what I have now.

Thanks

Without the senors, I'm pretty sure you'll just have to deal with the warning light/chime while driving.

I put the Blizzaks on my 16" stock rims, and run 18" GT takeoffs during the warmer months. It may be cheaper to get a set of takeoffs with the sensors included than buy them retail and just make one set snows.

depends on how much you want to spend. you dont have to get18s if you dont want to. they are more expensive than 17 or 16. i got a set of 17" rims off a 01 GT and put a set of michelin ice x on them. as for the tpms. i didnt worry about it as far as i know you just have to hit the reset button every time u start the car. i havent put the set on my car yet to know for sure. might ck ebay for a deal if u get them.

Mounted balanced and shipped for $1140 With the Blizzak LM-25 (255/45R18) with out sensors, add almost 400 with sensors.

how much snow you going to be driving in? honeslty if you have good all weather tires and only going to be driving occasionally in a little snow you will be fine. i dealt fine with it the snow in Indiana in my GT for 2 years before getting some winter wheels and tires.

if you got the cash get what you want but 1140 is a ton for rims that will take a beating. Like stated you can get rims/tires for 600-700 pretty easily.

As for the bands i wouldnt bother

I would just get some stocker rims for cheap and put you some snow tires on them.
