Depends on what you're looking for, if ease of installation is important, price, etc.
For superchargers, do a search in these v6 threads to see what options are available.
You can do 300+ hp with a decent setup. Turbo's will give you more power.
But keep in mind and be aware of the internal limits of the engine!
I've been checking into superchargers for a few months now just doing research. figured I'd ask you guys what you think would be the best one for the 4.0 Not too into turbos heard they lag alot off the line and arent as responsive. Think im going to go with the procharger with 12 psi. After the internals are beefed up of course. Thanks for the input

You are misinformed. However, I like superchargers purely as personal preference (I find them easier to install and tune), but boost is boost. Turbos don't make more HP than superchargers or vice versa when compared lb. for lb. of boost. A well plumbed and tuned turbocharger is just as responsive as a well plumbed and tuned supercharger. There is no such thing as "free" HP. You lose some power on the supercharger due to having to spin the supercharger with the drive belt, but you lose some power with the turbo due to backpressure needed to spin the impeller. One is not better than the other.

Good choice. I don't know how the V6's internals compare to the GT's, but 12 lbs. of boost is doable on GT stock internals on a good tune, so it may be doable for you as well. I'd check with other boosted V6 members. They'd know better than I would.
