There is a module in most cars that controls the blinking function. It is usually in the fuse box under the hood. I'm not for sure if our cars have it but that could be something to check.

Fire them! They are there to do one job... blink... if they aren't doing their job... FIRE THEM!

Do the emergency flashers work? Not sure on your model Mustang but some of the older ones have the two flashers. One for the emergency flashers, and one for the turn signals. If the emergency flashers work that says the bulbs and wiring are good. My guess would be the round shinny plug in flasher is bad. On my 90 Mustang the flasher is located over by the glove box, and not the fuse panel. Good luck.

No, not even the hazards work. Usually I wouldnt care but it makes my rear blinker go fast as hell. The lights work but dont blink it makes no sense, its pretty annoying.

tHIS IS NO OLDER mustang.
It has no mechanical flashers.
Your SJB is damaged or wet.
Replace it and your flashers will start working again.
(be sure and have the module configured at the stealership.
Should not cost more than a grand to get your flashers working
again like new.

'LARRY' is in for a big suprise when he has to fix electrical items
on his new S197 stang....

It's the black box located on the passenger's side kick panel.

Sorry guys, but all my experience is on my 1990 Mustang, as the new one has not been a problem yet. I did work electronics all my 45 years of working, so no surprises there! I am over 70 years old so please do not be too hard on me as I was only trying to help. Thanks.
