Default recall

Just got a letter from ford about a recall. The recall number is 08C02-reprogram restraint control module. I was wondering what exactly this is, and if it will affect my costume tune.

Take it in, it will take all of 10 minutes to fix. You don't have to worry about your custom tune.

Here's a thread about it;

Except to mention to the dealer that you have a custom tune, and not to apply any other updates beyond the RCM recall one.

True, you do have some Techs that like to go above and beyond.

That recall began 2 years ago. No impact to the PCM.

I beleive it's for the passenger side airbag deployment speed. Testing showed you could hurt a 4 foot tall person who is heavy enough to not disable the airbag if the front seat if it was all the way moved to the front. I passed....

If I go into a stealership can they tell me if all the recalls are up-to-date on my car? Can they run the VIN and see if there are any needed recall fixes?
