seatbelt locked?

Default seatbelt locked?

Recently I rear ended someone and my driver airbag deployed and ever since then my seatbelt is locked and it wont let me pull it out, how could I fix this?

tHE SEATBELT RETRACTOR HAS PYROS IN IT THAT WERE
activated during the wreck.

They pull up any slack in the seatbelt just before the collision...
Whom fixed your vehicle and why were they not replaced then?
Thats the question...
Oh yea, stop rear ending people and these problems wont arise...

I didnt get it fixed, nothing happened to it besides the airbag coming out and I dont have the money for the deductible right now.

You mean the airbag coming out and the seatbelt pretensioner firing

They make belts for that as well, or is it straps?


OP, it's supposed to happen when the bags deploy...
Some constructors even make it mandatory to replace the steering wheel, like Mazda and Toyota.


You could always get a used airbag and use the money saved towards the seatbelt...

I was thinking about doing that, exactly or around how much will the seatbelt cost?
