U guys are way passed me!!

distantsoldier: I'm in a similar predicament u were once in. I have an 06 vert. I want more hp but when I add the cost of a supercharger, dual exhaust, gears, brakes, gt leather seats, etc.. I might as well get a GT. Don't get me wrong I love my six banger but it would just be easier and more cost effective to upgrade.

However, finding a vert GT under 50,000 around 18k is hard!

If you go with a pushrod old school motor, make sure it's a 500hp minimum.
Make it count if you gonna spend a lot of dough...
A 408 stroker is one good way to go.

It's a noble idea and I have a lot of respect for people that venture on that path.

Anyway, I am not familiar with the Xcharger but most Centris will get you 350 Ponies at the wheels and even more if you want to push the issue...
Vortech delivers in that department.

Thanks Pascal for the advice (ur car is by the way!)

Right now I'm just doing all show mods until I have the money for the supercharger or get a GT. 20 yr old college student doesn't leave much money for performance mods after car payment/rent.. BUT I LOVE THE WAY IT LOOKS!
