From what I've read, you can do only the springs but it will rapidly decrease the life of the stock shocks. I've read that the stock shocks will last about 3 months give or take so that's why they say get both at the same time.
If I'm incorrect in any way please correct me so the right info is out here.

yeah...if someone needs to correct him, please do so. i wana know exactly what happens. so are thier any people on here that have just done the rear springs and shocks to level the car out??? and by just doing the rear springs and shocks, everything will be cool? or simply dropping the car under an inch using springs and shocks...this alone will be needed. not other parts that go with dropping. i know im asking a lot of questions but i dont want to spend for a complete drop. so i figure by doing a small drop that i would only have to spend on springs and shocks. im getting 20s so figure a little drop will be only thing needed.

Its a handling thing.
The stockers wear out faster with aftermarket springs.
The Roush springs and shocks are 'matched'.
Roush springs and OEM shocks are not.
I can slot car this V6 round any corner on thems KDWIIs.
Wheel hop is a thing long forgotten about....

i ran the roush rear springs last year level out the car, and improved the ride. I put roush front springs in about two weeks ago, I wanted the rake back in the car and that did it. See Sam about some koni s srts better shock, strut than the roush, i've seen pictures of the roush struts weld breaking.
