I got my headers from rick, he is a JBA dealer, I think they were like $550 after tax and everything. I was looking to switch out my X pipe and get an H with Hi Flows (actually the day I saw you there) But I am having problems finding any kind of H pipe that will work with my shorties with or without Hi Flows. So I have actually been researching LTs lately but really dont like their sound. So I dont know what I want to do. Maybe If I do switch to LTs you could buy my shorties lol.

Where do you live anyway? I would like to see you car too.

Ah yes I know......same as these? http://www.americanmuscle.com/jba-sh...ers-0509v6.htm but ofcourse for the 2010....they have to be different than mine so probably wouldn't fit me.....I know you can get an H-pipe done.....if you talk to 8Ball on our forum, he had an h-pipe put in for a pretty damn good deal! That alone makes your car sound so much deeper....I imagine with high flows it would be louder..I just went with the X for more performance gain.

Yes those are mine but mine are coated silver ceramic to keep underhood temps down. They will fit your car. When I got them from rick they were 05-09s but he told me they would fit mine too. Heres a link to mine

Anyway If your interested I would seriously consider switching to LTs, make me an offer lol. Under 1000 miles, 2 months old.
I gotta get on that site, its killing me everytime I try.

Ah okay interesting.....Rick gave you a good price then. I'm worried about how much install on something like that would be. I can't give you $600 or anything close to it now...maybe in a month or two when I get out of the hole. $10 an hour and not getting paid snow days has really put me in the negative for mod money.

Install was $400 at downs, May be cheaper if you trust any shops by you. Takes a few hours. I would sell mine for $300 plus shipping or in your case pick up I guess. Kinda looking for an excuse to get LTs.

Man that sounds pretty good to me. We will have to discuss this further soon. I have to talk to Rick and see he can do about the install....maybe do it when your doing longtubes and get us both an even cheaper rate lol....my truck has spent a ton of money there in last 6 months lol

Just put them on reserve for me. If they fit and I can hold on to them til I can afford to put them in that would be great....when do you plan on doing long tubes?

I have been researching them every since I started talking to you about this lol. Probably going with Kooks LTs and a JBA H with Hi Flows (my dad is going to kill me if I do this lol, he hates me spending so much money and hotroding but I think secretly he likes the hotroding part.), But I dont want to make the move until I know for sure that the shorties are sold and I want to talk to rick and jimmie about the costs of the LT's mid pipe and install, I think I remembered him saying that LTs are actually easier to install but they would still have to uninstall the shorties so it probably wouldnt say me any money anyway plus I would be switching out my mid pipe. SO after all that being said, I will probably just stop by Downs on Monday morning and talk to them about everything. If everything seems to be good and will work out, I am ready to do the swap asap whenever the parts come in. Its up to you.

alright that sounds good, talk to him and I will too. I sent him a pm on my forum about them and what he thinks I should do and how long install would like with my setup, etc.... hopefully not too bad....let me know what you hear back...I'm curious about what longtubes sound like but not sure if i'd ever do them...inspection legal?
